Electroplated diamond bit is through the principle of electroplating, the use of deposited metal ( alloy) diamond particles encrusted on the bit steel body, to form a firm wear-resistant working layer ( matrix) . and ordinary impregnated diamond bit has the same application conditions, It is similar to the impregnated diamond core bit, for drilling different rock formations, the matrix hardness of electroplated diamond core bit could be different the advantages of electroplated diamond bit include high strength, good wear resistance, cheaper than impregnated diamond bit, suitable for a variety of complex formation and hard formation drilling.
